A highly experienced and seasoned HR professional with over 34 years experience. During the tenure of my service I have seen the changing faces of HR from a personnel management function to a strategic human resource management role in an organization.
The impact of global changes – mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions etc in companies I have worked for in Pakistan, have been handled with professional expertise. As Head of HR I have been in a leading role and ensured integration of different HR policies, systems etc and utilized change management skills for smooth and effective transition to the new setup. My role has been pivotal as an internal consultant to the business as well as that of an internal coach to managers / employees.
Being responsible for initiating / introducing and implementing new HR systems and processes – which are considered world-class – I have been actively involved in integrating the functional practices of human resource management with the strategic HR processes required within the organization in order to gain a competitive advantage for the business.
